Please share this with the families that rely on SKG to help their children each year. 

The applications for riding the school bus will be available very early this summer, online, via the school district website.

The application won’t be available until mid-June and will include 2023-2024 in the heading so as not to be confused with last years app. 

IMPORTANT:  We simply do NOT have time for late applications. Our staff is overloaded with work preparing routes for Spencer, Colby, and Abbotsford. Applications after the stated deadline WILL result in a minimum two week delay before any student on that app can ride a bus. Late applications have become a very serious setback for us internally. A single late app can change an entire route causing massive phone calls with time changes, etc. 

The school district will send the apps out via text and email to all families. A link to the app will be included to make things easier for everyone. We are working hard to get things in order early and to eliminate the paper version of the bus application. A paper version of the app will only be made available in extreme circumstances…..such as homeless, no phone, no email, no computer. There are computers available at the local library as well. 

Any of your SKG families are welcome to contact me with questions or concerns. I’m very willing to help them so they might help me in return! Getting this done on time has become critical for us.
